Screw Sand-Water Separator is used in the grit chamber of the sewage treatment plant to separate the sand-water mixture discharged from the grit chamber.
The sand-water mixture is input into the tank from the upper end of the separator, and the heavy sand particles in the mixture, such as sand particles, will be deposited at the bottom of the tank. Under the push of the spiral, the sand particles will be lifted along the inclined tank bottom and continue to move for a distance after leaving the liquid level. After the sand particles are fully dehydrated, they will be discharged to the sand bucket through the sand discharge port, and the water separated from the sand water will be discharged from the overflow port and sent to the water intake tank in the plant.

This product combines the use of this type of products at home and abroad and improves the design to solve the defects of inconvenient replacement of liner and nonadjustable axial position of spiral. Its features are as follows:
1. The separation efficiency can reach 96% - 98%, and the particle size ≥0.2mm of the particles;
2. The shaftless screw is adopted, and the bearing without water is convenient for maintenance;
3. Compact structure and light weight;
4. The key product of the new transmission device - reducer is advanced shaft mounted type, without coupling, easy to install and align;
5. The liner strip is of quick installation type, easy for replacement;
6. The axial position of the screw is adjustable, so as to adjust the safety clearance between the tail and the box wall.
